Our Program

Improving School Children’s Literacy by Decreasing School Dropout Rate

A comprehensive education-focused program working to improve literacy among school children while addressing factors that contribute to school dropout and disengagement from education.

About the Program

The Improving School Children’s Literacy by Decreasing School Dropout Rate program focuses on strengthening children's educational opportunities by addressing two closely connected challenges: inadequate literacy skills and school dropout. Strong foundational literacy is essential for children to participate effectively in school and continue their education. The program therefore aims to create a more supportive learning environment in which children can improve their learning abilities, remain engaged with education, and receive appropriate support when they face difficulties. The initiative also recognizes that children's educational progress is influenced not only by schools but also by families and communities. Through educational support, stakeholder coordination, and community engagement, the program seeks to contribute to a stronger and more inclusive learning environment for children.
