Project Background
The publication emerged from a livelihood-focused project implemented in Tanahun District among indigenous communities. Alongside agriculture and livestock-related opportunities, the project explored tourism-based livelihoods, particularly homestay businesses. Community-based tourism can provide local households with opportunities to participate directly in tourism while retaining and promoting local knowledge, culture, and resources.
